We’re excited to announce a new collaboration between the AmstelHeart research group (Amsterdam UMC) and Star-shl to evaluate the TRACE care pathway—a primary care diagnostic service for chest pain in the Rotterdam-Rijnmond region.
As part of this initiative, starting September 1, 2025, a medical master's student will join the TRACE-R project for a scientific internship. The student will investigate how the TRACE pathway is applied in practice, analyzing patient profiles, ECG and troponin abnormalities, and subsequent GP management decisions, in close collaboration with the STAR-SHL team at Witte Keizer (Rotterdam).
